At ALUnna we attach great importance to sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing. The efficient use of energy is a challenge, both within the company and for society as a whole. This is why we also motivate our employees to extend the careful use of energy into their everyday lives.

We are continually optimizing our processes in the interests of sustainability. This applies to energy use, internal waste heat utilization, sustainable purchasing, the implementation of modern and efficient production processes and the selection of environmentally friendly and labor-saving operating and auxiliary materials.

We achieve our goal of conserving resources through our high-quality waste management system, which is actively supported by all our stakeholders. We contribute to protecting the environment through the safe storage and controlled handling of water-hazardous or volatile substances.

Cost-effective measures in this area are supported by management. These are subject to special, sustainable considerations for economic efficiency.

We promote awareness of occupational safety, health and environmental protection, and energy conservation among all our employees. Regular information and training keep everyone involved up to date.

Through our intranet, we ensure that all those who hold positions of responsibility at the plant are adequately informed – or can obtain the relevant information at any time. All documents relating to the implementation of our corporate policy are available on our intranet, in particular on energy use at the individual plants.

Customers & suppliers

Our customers and suppliers are informed about our integrated corporate policy. Interested members of the public can also find extensive information on our website and in notices posted at the plant.
