Dr. Gerhard Schroeder becomes Associate General Manager

On 30.11.2020, the Supervisory Board of our company appointed our long-standing Executive Sales Director Dr. Gerhard Schroeder as Associated General Manager as from 01.12.2020.

Dr. Schroeder will work jointly with Mr. Volker Findeisen, whose current appointment to the Board of Management has been extended for another year, to drive forward the company’s strategic realignment.

The two gentlemen have been pursuing a joint project for several months now. In the centre of the factory, the building for the second tower furnace is progressing well. The project is well on schedule, the installation of the furnace will begin in mid-December and commissioning will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2021. This investment doubles the capacity for several the company’s strategic products, which are produced for the automotive industry, aerospace and defence.
